NOTICE OF DECISION

ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

You are hereby notified that the request of Whytes Landholdings LLC for an Additional Special Exception at the property at Route 4A, Tax Map 28, Lot 386,337 following the requirements of Section IX D. 2. of the Andover Zoning Ordinance to permit:

Construction of a Forestry Company Maintenance Garage, Office, Truck and Trailer Parking, and Wood Product Storage Area. A Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7:05 p.m. and continued to February 15, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. 

THE APPLICATION IS DENIED

Following review of the information provided by the applicant, and testimony given by the applicant, abutters, members of the Andover Conservation Commission, and the public, the ZBA finds the following:

Proposed use is not compatible with the uses permitted or existing in the FA District;

The character, size, location, and design of the proposed use is not in harmony with the District and adjacent properties;

The proposed use is not consistent with proper development of the community and its general welfare;

The proposed use would hinder the appropriate develop of adjacent uses and impair the values of adjacent properties; and

The proposed use would impair safety, and general welfare of the neighborhood.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment DENIED this application by a 4-0 vote on February 15, 2022
